his mini-china (also called a china blast) is an inverted splash so it will offer a crisp, cutting, fast, slightly trashy, china-like splash sound. It isn't as trashy as a china but more of a trashy splash sound. These are great accent cymbals.
The inverted china structure is much more durable than the standard china shape.
This cymbal also works great in a stack.
