A total of 20 stations were given a day stamp.
First-day stamp of the first stamp issue was not the same date everywhere, when the announcement by the Ministry of the Postal Affairs concerning the postal service between Greenland and Denmark stated in §5 that "This Order will enter into force immediately after the departure of the last post office from Greenland to Denmark in 1938. For East Greenland and Thule, it only comes into force after the last post office departure in 1939 ".
